January Scholarship applications will be forwarded to all high schools
and filial lodges under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of
Massachusetts (Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire)
Applications can be obtained from your guidance counselor, a local lodge, or by contacting
the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts by mail or phone.
The following information must be placed in one (1) envelope and mailed to the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts with a post mark no later than March 15, 2008
1. A completed application
2. A recommendation from your guidance counselor or principal of your school
3. Your PSAT or SAT scores and transcript of marks
4. A short essay of why you should be awarded a scholarship.
5. A Wallet-sized picture
Your application can not be considered unless all of the above criteria are met.
A minimum of twenty-four scholarships of $1000 each will be available. Twenty will be available to those who are sons and daughters of members of the Order for at least two (2) years or Junior Lodge members for at least two (2) years. Four (4) scholarships will be available for the sons and daughters of those parents who are not members of the Order.
To receive a Grand Lodge Scholarship, the student must attend a four (4) year accredited college and be a senior in high school in the 2007-2008 academic year.
